On November, 18 the urban settlement Oktyabrsky of the Gomel region appeared in the mobile application “My city (Belarus)”. The digital resource presentation was coincide with the regional festival-fair of rural workers “Dazhinki-2023”.
Oktyabrsky has become the seventh settlement in the Gomel region and the 35th in the country, where urban infrastructure has been digitized. Residents of Dobrush, Narovlya, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Kalinkovichi and Mozyr have been already actively using the application. It accumulates the information about services and enterprises of a particular city, and most important – it allows to interact in an interactive format.
Beltelecom organized a promotional event near the Beltelecom service center at the address: u.s. Oktyabrsky, 45, Dzerzhinskogo street on the holiday day “Dazhinki-2023”. Specialists of the Beltelecom Gomel branch demonstrated to local residents and guests of the holiday the capabilities of the application “My city”, advised on its installation and use, and also talked about the most popular services and new projects of the company. Entertainment events were also organized for children and adults.
One more technological solution for the urban environment – the “Smart stop” – has become a surprise for the residents of Oktyabrsky. Beltelecom inaugurated it at the address: 60, Sovetskaya street. The stop is equipped with such services as free Wi-Fi, the “Video surveillance” camera monitors security. Passengers will be able to analyze the transport schedule at the touch screen, and also use the application “My city”.
The holiday took place in the warm friendly atmosphere and left only pleasant impressions.
