In the Year of Peace and Creation, Beltelecom continues to create comfortable conditions for getting acquainted with modern technologies. On March 17, a modern service center of the company was solemnly opened in Mogilev and the mobile application “My city. Beltelecom” was presented.
Mogilev became the first regional center of the country to digitize the city infrastructure on the “My City” platform.
The project was launched by the Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan, Chairman of the Mogilev City Council of Deputies Maxim Gurin and Beltelecom Director General Yuri Petruchenya.
With the help of the mobile application, residents of Mogilev will have convenient access to the entire city infrastructure - government organizations, healthcare and education institutions, sports and cultural facilities. The resource already presents the services of 400 organizations of the city. They are structured by types of activity: administration, active recreation and tourism, health and sports, education, in total - more than 40 modules.
For guests of Mogilev, who are planning to visit the city for the first time, the digital navigator will help to make a route, get acquainted with the sights and, in general, orient themselves in the urban environment. And local residents will be able to find the necessary information here, get feedback and order services without leaving their homes.
Since its launch in 2021, the demand for the digital platform has been actively growing. The mobile application “My City” is available to the population of 14 Belarusian cities, 30 more are being prepared for launch. One of the most active users of the resource are residents of the city of Bobruisk, Mogilev region, where the resource has been operating since October 2022.
The idea of digital communication with the urban environment received a great positive response: almost 50,000 downloads, more than 3,500 participating organizations and more than 450,000 views. 36,000 services were subscribed by users via the application.
Presentation of the project “My city. Mogilev” was held in the renovated service center “Beltelecom”, which opened its doors to visitors at st. Boldina, 3. The most convenient forms of customer service are implemented here: four workplaces are designed to communicate with individuals and five - for legal entities. Specialists will consult on all issues, introduce you to the functionality and characteristics of services, various scenarios for their use.
The “My City” initiative within the Digital Development of Belarus program is being successfully implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus and Beltelecom.
