Representatives of Beltelecom are taking part in the International Championship of High-Tech Professions “High-Tech 2022”, which takes place from November 7 to 11 in Yekaterinburg.
The championship annually brings together workers and engineers of the largest enterprises that develop production standards, carry out modernization and technical re-equipment. This year, 600 contestants and 500 experts in 37 through and sectoral competencies are taking part in the competition.
In the nomination “Backbone lines. Construction and operation of FOTL” our colleagues Oleg Grib, an engineer of the MGTS branch, and Alexei Kopytko, a leading engineer of the Minsk branch, will demonstrate their skills. The team is accompanied by an expert - Vladimir Shaybak, Leading Engineer of the Telecommunication Systems and Networks Operations Department. In total, five teams are fighting for the victory.
Before getting to the championship, the technical specialists participated in regional and republican corporate competitions of professional skills, where they showed excellent results and won prizes. Installation of optical communication lines, finding and eliminating damage, measuring optical parameters - our specialists do these and other works quickly, efficiently and professionally.
On the first day of the championship, the contestants performed the input control of four cables, designed circuits on a computer, compiled measurement protocols and mounted conventional lines.
“High-tech” is not just a professional competition, but a real laboratory of modern skills and competencies. Competitive tasks are formed on the basis of current requests of enterprises and are aimed at optimizing production, jobs, improving the quality and productivity of labor. All this makes it possible to strengthen personnel potential, to provide rapid training and retraining, taking into account all modern tasks.
The employees of Beltelecom successfully participated in the championship in previous years. So, in 2019 our team took the second place, and in 2018 - the third.
