Beltelecom provided technical support to the next cybersport initiative. Internet at a speed of 500/500 Mbps from a national operator appeared at the first international esports arena in Minsk.
Meta Arena, the largest gaming and e-sports venue, was opned on April 29. General Director of RUE Beltelecom Yuri Petruchenya and Deputy General Director for Commercial Issues Sergey Turomsha took part in the festive ceremony.
Cooperation between Beltelecom and the Belarusian Cybersport Federation began in 2019. The joint work started with exclusive broadcasts of eSports tournaments on the YASNAe TV channel. The next step was the launch of the information and entertainment program "Clear about esport". And today the partnership has acquired a new format.
Thanks to the interaction of the parties, a modern telecommunications infrastructure has been created at Meta Arena. Beltelecom believes that this very location will make it possible to fully use the resource of the fiber-optic communication line.
It will host trainings, competitions and online broadcasts. The 40-seat Gaming Module is equipped with powerful professional computers and accessories for comfortable 24/7 gaming. Stream-room is a full-fledged studio with broadcasting equipment for voice recording and video production. Lounge module with high definition screen - for live broadcasting of tournaments. And the Bootcamp zone for 10 gaming places, equipped with powerful hardware and top-end devices, will suit the most skilled players.
Meta Arena will open on May 1st.
