Dear users of digital terrestrial television broadcasting!
RUE Beltelecom starts the planned modernization of radio and television transmission equipment, which will affect both users of a free publicly available package of TV programs and subscribers of the terrestrial digital television broadcasting service (hereinafter referred to as "Efirnaya ZALA"). The work will be carried out in stages until December 31, 2021 according to the schedule indicated in Table 1. When carrying out the planned events at the corresponding radio and television broadcasting station in its coverage area, there will be no reception of television programs of the compulsory publicly available package and commercial terrestrial digital TV during working hours from 09.00 to 17.00. Please note that specific dates of work may change due to operational needs. The updated information will be available on the website of RUE Beltelecom or by calling the round-the-clock toll-free number of the customer service call center 123.
Upon completion of the work at the radio and television broadcasting stations of RUE Beltelecom, the radio frequency channels on which television programs are broadcast will be changed. For further viewing of TV programs, it will be necessary to reconfigure the used receiving equipment (digital TV, digital set-top box, etc.).
Subscribers of the "Efirnaya ZALA" service will be able to configure the equipment automatically or manually. With the automatic method, you will need to reset the settings of previously scanned TV channels and re-scan. This requires:
- turn on the set-top-box;
- after loading "Efirnaya ZALA" press the "menu" button on the remote control;
- find the "Settings" tab, press the "OK" button on the remote control;
- select "Delete all", press the "OK" button on the remote control;
- confirm that you want to delete all channels by clicking "Yes";
- go to "Autoscanning", press the "OK" button on the remote control;
- click on the "Search" tab, wait for the full scan of the channels;
- get an image of TV channels at new frequencies.
The second option is to reset the settings of previously scanned TV channels in the ZALA set-top box and configure the set-top box for specific radio frequency channel numbers indicated in Table 1.
Users of a free publicly available TV program package need to tune the TV channels according to the instructions (user manual) for the TV receiver or set-top box.
